Health care assistant / Medical trainee

My name is Isabel, and last summer, in 2025, I received my Bachelor's degree in Medicine. After graduating, I decided to take a gap year. I'm working as a medical assistant at the practice to gain experience and interact with patients, which I thoroughly enjoy. I find it incredibly rewarding and educational to see what we've learned over the past three years put into practice and to be able to further help patients with these skills. With the exception of two gaps, I'm here year-round. During these gaps, I'll travel to Ghana to complete a volunteer internship at a hospital, and I'll also travel to Asia.
