Jeroen Peereboom

General practitioner trainee

I grew up partly in Amstelveen and partly in Maastricht. I went on to study Medicine in Amsterdam and have been living in Maastricht again for the past two years.

I completed my medical degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. After graduating, I gained experience in internal medicine and elderly care in the Amsterdam and Haarlem region. I also worked in the emergency department in Suriname and spent a short period working as an occupational health physician.

Since 2023, I have been training as a GP. As of December 2025, I am working as a GP registrar in this practice.

What attracts me to general practice is the personal connection with patients and the opportunity to provide tailored care. I believe it is important to work together with patients to find a treatment plan that truly suits their individual needs.
